Terms and Conditions
- Reservations made at least 2 months in advance require a non-refundable $50 or $100 deposit (depending on the cottage reserved) to be made by credit card over the phone at time of reservation OR to be made by check which is mailed and collected within 5 days of scheduling the reservation.
- Reservations made less than 2 months in advance require a non-refundable 50% (of rental fee) deposit to be made with a credit card over the phone at time of reservation OR to be made by check which is mailed and collected within 5 days of scheduling the reservation.
- All reservations must be paid in full, 14 days prior to arrival date. When making a reservation within 14 days of your stay, payment is due in full using a credit or debit card.

Cleaning/Security Deposit can be paid for using check or credit card, but NOT cash. This is 100% refundable, so long as there are no damages, missing items, and the cottage and its grounds are clean and in the same condition as found upon arriving. If your reservation was paid using a check, you will be required to write a separate check for Cleaning/Security Deposit upon arrival. If your reservation was paid using a credit card, you will agree that your credit card can be charged for Cleaning/Security Deposit. Fees vary based on cottage and length of stay. Upon checking-out, the cottage will be inspected to ensure it is in proper condition. If you leave the cottage as agreed upon on the signed lease, we will kindly shred your check, or simply not charge your credit card. (If you would like your check returned instead of shredded, please provide us with a self addressed, stamped envelope.)
All cottages are cleaned prior to guest arrival AND upon departure. If you find any housekeeping or maintenance issues upon arrival, please come to the office and make us aware of those issues within 30 minutes of your check in to avoid getting charged unnecessarily. We will do our best to make sure any issues are taken care of as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel your reservation please contact us as soon as possible. Once we have turned other guests away as a result of your reserved cottage, we will hold the full amount of your reservation until we re-book for those same dates in that same cottage. If we are able to re-book your cottage for those same dates, we will happily refund all but $10.00. However, if we are unable to re-book your cottage after we have turned people away, unfortunately we will not be able to issue any kind of refund. If you cancel due to a traveler’s advisory, there is no penalty.
Check in/Check out Information
Check-in is: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
If arriving after 7:00 p.m., please call the office in order for our staff to make alternate check-in arrangements for you.
Check-out is: 11:00 a.m.
When checking out, lock your cottage and return the key(s) to the “Key Drop Box” located outside the office door.
